Conference Theme Contest

We want YOUR CHAPTER to develop the next conference theme.  Your mission is to design a logo matching your theme that will be used on all official YDI and Spring Jam documents and clothing.  Put your creative heads to work because the stakes are high! The site which submits the design with the most votes (voting will be done online – all details listed below) will win three (3) paid conference registrations! That’s right, this means that three of you get to attend YDI or Spring Jam for free!  Please read all instructions carefully.

The theme must be:

  • Developed by youth

  • Appropriate

  • Relatable to the nature of our YDI/Spring Jam conferences (leadership, youth development, prevention campaigns, community service)

  • Easily applicable to Friday Night Live and Club Live

  • Fun!

Once you’ve come up with a super cool theme, your next task is to design a logo incorporating that theme which will be used on all YDI and Spring Jam documents and clothing!

Make sure the logo:

  • Incorporates your theme

  • Has both program acronyms or long versions:

    • FNL (or Friday Night Live)

    • CL (or Club Live)

  • Will look good on a T-Shirt (any color)

  • No more than 3 colors

  • Is fun!

After your school has completed a theme & design, please submit it to in the following formats:

  • .png

  • .Ai (Adobe Illustrator)

  • .Ps (Photoshop)

Email your submissions to Sal Garcia at by Friday, November 1, 2019.

Please note: FNL may need to modify your design for printing or branding purposes, by submitting you agree to terms and any modifications.

Next, each eligible design will be featured on our website where you will be able to vote for your favorite design. The voting session will end on Wednesday, December 6, 2019.  At that time, we will contact the winning school with the details of their scholarship.  Please let us know if you have any questions,

Happy designing!
